GOBLOSSOM / BRAND SYSTEM 1.0 / 25 SEPTEMBER 2026

Good music.
Everywhere.

A refined, slightly futuristic editorial identity for music and culture across borders. The artist is always the subject; the identity gives the work space.

01 — The wordmark

goblossom
goblossom reversed

Lowercase lettering, a four-part bloom, and no added effects. Use the supplied outlined SVG masters for sharp reproduction. PNG variants are transparent. Clear space: one bloom width on every edge. Minimum wordmark: 150px digital / 32mm print. Minimum standalone mark: 24px. Do not stretch, rotate, outline, shadow, recolor arbitrarily, or separate the mark from the supplied wordmark lockup.

02 — Color

Paper
#F7F4FA
Plum
#271333
Violet
#793CF2
Lilac
#BFA2D8

Start with approximately 70% Paper, 20% Plum, and 10% accents. This is a composition guideline, not a quota. Violet signals action; Lilac supports. Body text is Plum on Paper. Use white on Violet buttons. Lilac is unsuitable for small text on Paper. Supporting rule #CFC0DF and muted text #695873. Tokens ship as CSS and JSON. Hex values are digital sRGB; obtain a physical print proof before selecting CMYK or spot-color equivalents.

03 — Typography

Big feelings.
Bigger pop.

Display: Arial / Helvetica / sans-serif, 800–900 weight, tight tracking around −0.055em, line-height 1.05. Body: Arial / Helvetica, 17–20px, line-height 1.65. Metadata: Courier New / monospace, 12–14px, uppercase, +0.13em tracking. Keep informational text at 14px where practical; small metadata is secondary. The outlined wordmark is a fixed artwork, not a text font. Glyphs are derived from DejaVu Sans Bold; its license is included. Editorial type uses system fonts and does not require a hosted font service.

04 — Layout

Use generous page margins, a strong asymmetric image/story relationship, fine purple-gray rules, and flat rectangular surfaces. Desktop: maximum content width 1680px, side padding 3.5vw, 24–32px column gaps. Mobile: 20px margins, one column for stories, 16–24px gaps. Use sharp corners for editorial imagery and 3px rounding for controls. At 200% text enlargement, allow headings and navigation to wrap. Never reduce essential type to preserve a one-line title.

05 — Light, texture, and imagery

Glass bloom

The four-petal glass bloom is original generated brand artwork. It belongs at the edge of a story or in an open brand composition, never behind body text. Use one bloom at a time. Keep soft grain subtle; avoid heavy glow, chrome clutter, and busy gradients. Use real, licensed artist photography for editorial coverage. Do not identify generated people on the approved direction board as real artists. Keep photo credits, license, and source URLs with each editorial image.

06 — Voice

Curious, specific, warm. Write as someone sharing a discovery with a friend who listens closely. Name the artist and the scene. Say what the reader can explore. Avoid treating “international” as one genre or nationality as a complete identity. Preserve diacritics and native names. An announcement is not a review; a listening impression needs an actual listen. Never invent an interview, quote, chart rank, release date, label contract, or popularity statistic.

Lead: Good music. Everywhere.
Supporting: Room for the music.
Editorial invitation: Open ears. Open world.

07 — Templates and delivery

social-square.html is a 1080 × 1080 editable discovery card. social-story.html is a 1080 × 1920 vertical card. Open locally, edit the marked text, and export through your browser or design tool. Both ship with standalone brand art and no placeholder artist photography. For an actual release, add a licensed image and verified artist/title/source details. Template text is illustrative brand copy, not a music announcement.

Included: plum, white and mono wordmarks in SVG/PNG; bloom mark SVG/PNG; glass-bloom.png; approved-direction.png; tokens.css/json; this guide; social templates; font license and README. The direction board is a reference, not a production webpage or factual editorial content.

08 — File use

Keep original aspect ratios and transparent edges. SVG is preferred for interfaces and print. PNG is preferred for social tools. The glass image is 1536 × 1024; do not imply that it is an infinitely scalable vector. Brand kit version 1.0 accompanies the 25 September 2026 website refresh.
